HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We all hope you have had a magical, fun and safe break over the festive period and are looking forward to a great 2025.
A new year gives us all a moment to reflect on where we want to be this time next year, and for our school, we are ambitious to ensure that Glebe continues its upward trajectory and is the best it can be for its children, staff, and families. After all the December Christmas excitement and enrichment, we now refocus our energies on the quality of education we provide and ensure all children achieve the best outcomes possible.

FIVE REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
1. SCHOOL STARTS TUESDAY 7TH JANUARY
A reminder that school is closed for children tomorrow (Monday 6th) for a Staff Development Day and reopens on Tuesday 7th January for children – gates will be open from 8.35am.
2. UNIFORM REFRESHER!
We have high expectations and want all our children to be dressed smart and are ready for learning. Please make sure your children are dressed in the correct uniform – details are on our website: https://www.glebe.harrow.sch.uk/Parents/School-Uniform We do have new school logo badges, which can be sewn over jumpers with the old logo – speak with Mrs Kerai in the office.
3. WINTRY WEATHER!
We have awoken to a blanket of snow! The forecast is for it to clear, but the outlook is uncertain with the cold weather. Please take this into account ensuring children have winter coats, gloves, hats and scarves ALL CLEARLY NAMED. Also, remember journey times increase with ice/snow conditions, so please account for that to ensure your child is in school on time. This is a life skill we need to instill in them when they go to work in the future!
