The Week Ahead 30th June 2024
Dear Glebe Families,

Sunny weather does make a difference!  I hope you are all having a great weekend.

As you read this week, we say goodbye to Mrs Anwar-Simmons.  Being a headteacher is a challenging role at the best of times - leading a school through an unprecedented global pandemic and recovery, significant changes to OFSTED expectations and all the other challenges in education is even more remarkable.  To enable our community to say their goodbyes to Mrs Anwar-Simmons, we have set up an online THANKBOX for you and your children to leave a message (and a photo or GIF if you wish) and you can also contribute to a goodbye gift voucher if you wish.

Just click this link:  https://www.thankbox.com/app/thankbox/XaVnBypQ   It will close on Monday 8th July 2024.

5. PARENT/CARER ATTENDANCE TO EVENTS:

As we plan ahead for 2024-25, we need to know when are the best times for parent/carers to attend class assemblies, workshops and any other events.  Please complete the form attached to this message and choose all the slots that work best for you so we can plan the next academic year.

On the horizon...

* A reminder our Fun and Fitness Week is from 8th-12th July with parent/carer participation so get training 😊. Currently, we plan Y1&2 and Y5&Y6 Sports Day on Monday 8th July and EYFS and Y3&4 on Tuesday 9th July – check the Ping from last week.

Week ahead weather:

Monday afternoon to the end of Wednesday will be warm but a bit grey and drizzly!  However the current forecast shows warm sunshine again on Thursday and Friday!
